They did. They released the PS2 games in HD versions on PS3. I played the HD version of the first game at the start of the year. It's a bit weird to have a second HD version of the first game (in such a short period of time) with the character development stripped out.
Almost every fantasy game I've played besides Elder Scrolls. The reason so many of them tend to be cringe-worthy are the way characters are dressed. Between ridiculously huge glowing armour that makes my shoulders look like my dominant feature and bikini-mail, these are games I'm embarrassed to...
I loved my first playthrough of San Andreas the most when it came out. I was around 14 or 15 though, so I was excited by most good games I played a lot more than I am now. Now though, I enjoy IV and V the most. Both have strengths and weaknesses, and I feel like the best GTA would merge the best...
It really depends on the game and the feeling that the developer is going for. Want somebody to feel like they're in an actual warzone, fearing for their lives? Realistic might be the way to go. Want somebody to relax and simply have fun without the nonsense of reality holding it back? Go...
This won't last long. Nobody at Activision has understood video games for a long time. All they know is how to buy out other teams and run their IPs into the ground. Imagine if Nintendo decided to start buying out other IPs! They'd simply grow and we'd actually get some noteworthy games.
After playing a bunch of Guild Wars 2, I'd recommend against it if your idea of an MMO is a big open world. Everything is split into tiny zones which aren't even in the same world (might walk from one zone to another only for it to switch from midnight to midday after a lengthy loading screen.)...
I wouldn't get too excited about Mirror's Edge 2. The first one is an amazing game, don't get me wrong, but I don't think EA is going to revert to its pre-2008 self for one game.
Subnautica could be pretty great when it gets further along. As it is now, it's a bit barebones and you can feel like you've done everything within a few hours. What's there is decent though, if slightly unpolished.
Superman Returns. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I can kill plenty of time just using the powers in this game. They really nailed how to handle controlling Superman. I also loved that he doesn't have health, but letting the city get destroyed too much without saving...
PS3 by far. The 360 barely had any games worth playing that the PS3 didn't have (Viva Pinata, Perfect Dark, and the slightly better-running version of RDR.) You also have to pay a subscription to play 360 games online which never made any sense to me since you had to host the games on your own...
