Just throwing a recommendation for Sword of the Stars II, yes there can be some bugs, but the devs are working on it. The turn based part feels the most like leading an empire out of any game I've played, and the real time combat is interesting and just fun to watch at times.
I can say most of the weapons in Chivalry are satisfying but something between the animation and the way ragdolls were reacting made the spear fantastic in the last couple games I played.
This seems like the best way to do it, those who buy/bought the full game have nothing changed and the F2Pers get to play a number of matches per time period and can pay to play more.
The original Ghost Recon is a game I'd love to see get some visual polish (imagine bigger maps with none of that horrible fog), and keep all of its mechanics and UI exactly the same.

I used to love Interplay, but now it'd really just be better if they sold off those great IPs they have to people who can do something with them. (I'd love to see another Descent game)
Nothing too creative, either "WAAAAAARG", "CHURRRRRGE", or "ONWARDS (to glory)!" most of the time, and if it goes well I'll generally be laughing maniacally.
