True. While I didn't think of that at time of writing, PC still has mod support and a better distribution service. Though I guess I'd still be getting screwed, the screw-er would at least be a bit more pleasant.

Although I'm taking this with a grain of salt at the moment, if they pull this kind of crap with the next console generation, I'm switching over to PC. Ease of use and inexpensiveness will only go so far, and if I'm gonna get screwed like this, I can learn to upgrade my hardware.

I think we should at the very least introduce children to programming. After all, we introduce them to music, and teach them history. Both of those have far less practical applications in the real world. Why not programming?

I don't think I'd mind too much. Then again, I'm imagining gaming becoming underground again, something done in basements or dorms with cables running between laptops. Gone are the CoDs and FIFAs, and with them the people who played them exclusively. A return to the days of the LAN parties.

In Call of Duty 4 cage-matches, rage quitting is rampant. It seems 2 out of every 3 people on there are trying to make a YouTube video out of it or something like that, and quit the first time you kill them. Sorry, but if you want to make a montage out of me, earn it.
