The main reasons I use steam over other digital platforms (GOG aside, of course) are due to the massive amount of content and the amazingly retarded sales they have. I highly doubt that EA is going to offer anywhere close to the same amount of value. Oh, and being a cock and making your titles...

I use Sennheiser PC350s I got on sale, although for the 360 you may need an adapter to plug into the USB slot on the console to even have a chance of making them work. I have heard good things about those Turtle Beach EFX11 headsets before, both here and from other friends.
