Welp it seems steam completely crashed on me and i cant even access the store to buy skyrim (guessing everyone is downloading it now) so i cant even put the code in. thanks to those who responded edit: now im confused, was able to buy game without putting anything in...

When i logged in it was through the client, not from a web browser, I have always used the client

So after hearing about steam getting hacked, I attempted to buy Skyrim (perfect thing to do after something gets hacked) and steam asks me relog in and steamguard is telling me a code got sent to my email for using a new computer, the thing is i have been using the same computer for months now...
