I have a girlfriend who doesn't like gaming at all, who thinks it's a waste of time. We have been together for 7.5 months :) . As long as you have something you can do together, and she doesn't prohibit you from playing them on your own free time, then you are OK :)

Whenever someone asks how can games be art, I just point then to Silent Hill 2 (and recently, Silent Hill : Shattered Memories). Of course I still have yet to have a person ask me that question :P

Batman : Arkham Asylum. I never really got into it. I was expecially irritated by the fact that there isn't any jump button. Only double hit X for dodge. It kinda kills the immersion when I can't jump over a fence , so I have to walk around it. I'm supposed to be freaking batman!

For those wondering about what a ping is, games with server browsing should just put a tip in the game "Games with lower pings will run more smoothly and less prone to disconnects" . There, problem solved.
