Wildman Kickstarter Could Be Running Out Of Gas

That's a Matt Chat video posted on the Evil Avatar forums, not an Evil Avatar interview.

Best Steam deal you've snagged so far?

Double Fine Bundle for $10. I'd have spent at least that for each of them.

Poll: An offer: $2.5 million for literally everything you own

One of the thing I own is an eftpos card linked to a bank account I own. Assuming this guy isn't giving me $2.5 million in cash, he could really easily just take it back the moment I handed my wallet over. So that would be a really dumb offer to accept. Not to mention I need stuff like a...

    Tvtropes

I think it's OK in theory, but in practice leaves a lot to be desired - it's like literary criticism for people who don't understand literature beyond sticking as many labels on stuff as possible, half of which barely apply. Like, count how many times a main character is described as a...

    Schoolchildren Flee Mordor Eruption

The weird thing is Ruapehu erupts all the time, Tongariro's a lot more docile in comparison.

    How would you run hell?

It's an infinite afterlife. I'd let them do whatever they wanted with no restrictions, and indeed help them out with it. Everyone's dead forever so there's no real consequence or pressure anymore - does a dictator want to take over? good for them. They'll get bored, and how are they going to...

Halo 4 criticized for not having iron sights...wut?

I wonder what would happen if critics had a basic understanding of game design so they could understand why certain mechanics were or weren't included, and how it applies to the overall experience. That's a perspective you rarely see - most just want to review it like a movie. I suppose the...

I liked the Mass Effect 3 ending.

That's OK OP - You're objectively wrong for liking it, but by all means do so.

Poll: Is man inherently good, or Evil?

Neither - good and evil are arbitrary social constraints that vary greatly between different cultures. The particular set of traits you may consider inherently evil might be virtuous or even neutral in another society. Take the Spartans of ancient Greece, casting aside "weak" infants - horrible...

    Something Awful

I've seen several people with pony avatars who don't seem to be banned, so I'm not sure it's that bad.

    Something Awful

I'm this close to actually signing up - I've been watching the Dangan Ronpa thread for a while and it's seriously great. In fact I've really enjoyed a lot of the LPs on there, and while it's just hard to justify paying, I have gotten more than $10 worth of entertainment form them already.

    Brilliant...but lazy....

This is the only true example of brilliant laziness in the entire thread. It raises the bar so high not even people's vague self-reporting anecdotes of that one time they fluked a test without studying can hope to compare. It's transcendent.

    Poll: The Best Time-Travel Movie

I think 12 Monkeys is probably the best time travel movie. Back to the Future's time travel was poorly executed, even though I loved it, and the rules of time travel changed in every Terminator movie. 12 Monkeys was consistent and well written, so I've got to vote for it. Oh, also really...

Your favorite fictional religions in literature/games/media

Yeeeessss... Kane's opening speech in the C&C 3 expansion is one of my favourite monologues ever.
