My only experience with it are the Dawn of War games, all of which i own: Dark Crusade is one of the best RTS games iv ever played. Never really red up on it all but i have friends who are deep into the table top game and love it. also the game Space Marine is coming out and it looks good aswell...
I either go by Rano,my long held RPG name from Neverwinter Nights (that i transferred to WoW), or Xan, a shortening of my name and a very old username from when i was a kid (not to mention Baldur's Gate and Unreal Tournament that totally copied it from me)

Dead Rising 2 anyone? just slashing through zombies with a laser sword and all the other insane and brutal combo weapons should be enough to gain a mention also Minecraft (though it was originally released in 2009) the constant updating and recent beta should atleast deserve an honorable mention
I would say that Dead Rising 2, to some extent at least, satisfies the criteria with weapon choices and limb damage though is pretty weak in other categories. gore in video games can be excessive yet for some games (God Of War series for example)it is part of the reward that killing creatures...
