Funny how developers decided to respond to people calling them out on rehashing the same franchises by going a step further and just re-releasing the same games. This industry is pathetic.

It begs the question why the Matrix franchise is completely dead in the water right now. No spin offs, no new games, nothing. It's weird.

There used to be this really cool browser game called Wild Isle that let you breed different creatures, splice their DNA and even sell/trade the DNA to other players. Gothic basically ruined cRPGs for me. It's a flawed game without a doubt, but whenever I play any cRPG these days I find myself comparing it to Gothic and most of the time finding ways in which Gothic is better than it.
