Seem to remember being dissapointed by Wars, totally loved the original though. As others have said I can see it going into an FPS, having said that it would probably make a really good FPS if done well. On a plus note EA may not be a bad place for it to be if they can pull it off.

It was! I believe Battlecry was a sort of spin off to the original series which was a turn based thingermajig.

Definately Skate. I really wanted to love it, everything about it was amazing to me when on paper. The whole thing was such a drudging experience however, and I think I gave up on it about halfway through.
