I've dealt with a lot of blood in my lifetime, and I can safely say it is thicker than your average drinking water...if you refer to bloodlines than yes, family is a bit more important than water.
Try a nature trip, it sounds sketchy if you've never done it. A week (or a few days) in the wilderness, with some cannabis or shrooms if at all possible(actually it's a necessity, I just didn't want to directly suggest drugs...)
I think a WWI game would be amazing, and could provide some pretty epic moments...but WWI soldiers died...a LOT! so yeah, it would have to be like battlefield where everytime you died you just became another soldier, and so on.
