Everyone says they're waiting on that one great MMO that takes what MMO's have and does something great with it. But it's to late, it was City of Heroes, and now it's gone.
I find this argument flawed. If 75% of strategy games released were tetris clones and I said I don't like tetris clones, would you say I didn't like strategy games? Just because one type of game is the majority doesn't mean that that is all the genre is.
Actually I find it to be the other way round, I enjoy the setting and find the interaction a tad lacking. I've spent more time reading memes, listening to songs, and looking at pictures inspired by Skyrim than actually playing it.
Blood pooling on the cobbles. A not so fair, not so young lady in the midst of it. An officer of the law searching the mists for the culprit. An investigator, keen of eye and wit, in deep contemplation the day after, and then the sudden light of inspiration in his eyes.
