You know, this doesn't have to be a bad game. It could be a platformer game like Braid or Trine for example. I just hope it doesn't become some shitty first person point and click "cinematic" game.
Welp... That kinda slipped me there. My point is that this is not a serious attempt. Where as, Bloodrayne, Alone in the Dark, and others were. If you know what I mean.
Jim should defend Postal. That too was a dumb action movie with stupid dialog. But it made fun of itself and it was fun to watch. Just because it was made by Uwe Boll doesn't mean it was horrible by default. (Unless its game related)
Soon the IP's for The Sims, Command & Conquer, and Battlefield will be sold off to other companies because EA can't afford its own bills anymore. And thus the legacy of gaming exits its dark ages.
Wow seriously? This again? Wasn't the subject brought up the moment the pictures where taken, 60 years ago? The 'disk' is just the lens cap from one of the cameras.
As for the scorpion. Its a blur. Just because you can't recognize what it is, doesn't mean that it is what you make up.
Though...
When people expect a movie to be bad they will look at every little bit to criticize and often overlook the good stuff. I guess thats how we humans are though. It happens with a lot of stuff. I watched the Crystal Skull again a few weeks ago. Sure it wasn't a good movie storywise and Shia isn't...
The problem now is that people see a George Lucas movie and label it 'bad' just because its the bandwagony thing to do.
Seriously, How many here saw the trailer for Red Tails, said: looks awesome! Then saw/heard that its made by Lucas and thought: Oh, it will suck because Star Wars.
Funny, when SOPA comes out no one will even know that gory games are banned because all gaming sites would be permablocked. And the EA site is already run by draconian moderators.
If you are into metal with a pirate influence look up Alestorm on Youtube. The Sunken Norwegian and Pirate Song are real uplifters for me.

If you like epic music, I suggest Two Steps from Hell...
I give Bioware the benefit of the doubt, they have no experience in making real strategy games. They can screw it up but then again they might also make a good game.
Generals is not a difficult IP. Its a Michael Bay mindset. Jerk of the the US military and poke some fun with the other factions...
I knew it!!
