Portal 2 did it for me. Just after finishing the game, i lay the controller down and teared up a bit.
Also, GTA4. I genuinely felt bad for Niko after Kate died, yet surprised at how deeply immersed i was in their relationship.
I used to be quite into astronomy. My parents even got me a telescope and a subscription to an astronomers magazine.
i never really got a chance to use it though, the city isnt too great for looking at the sky.
I havent actually looked at the sky for a while though, but i may do so again soon.
Im kinda worried myself, as this is the first time i've actually had enough regular income to be able to buy gifts for everyone.
im not really sure where to start...
I personally quite enjoyed the beta, glitches and all. Although vehicle-laden map is..just not right.
ALthough its kinda odd that the Assault kit has the defib and medkit, and the support kit has ammo packs. although that could have been a bigger glitch i dont know about....
No not really. I've actually had quite a severe gaming drought for a while now. Not to say there's nothing there, just nothing has peaked my interest enough to buy.
That said, October through March has some awesome titles coming out, so its all good.
a good few games actually. i'll think they suck, then go back and play the again and, suddenly, its all good.
FF XIII would be the most recent example. Hated it when i got it, im playing through it again and im actually really enjoying it.
I think i would. Granted, what you describe is very probable, and it is harrowing, but if it were made possible, i imagine a lot of people would be willing to go.
Space is exciting and uncharted, and we are natural explorers. I anticipate the day we finally do it.
I generally play games from most genre's, so there's no particular genre i like or dislike, since each is so different.
That said, i would say RTS's are my least played genre. FPS's are my most played.
The best game intro of all time for me has to be Gran Turismo. Everytime i put that game in, i always watch the intro, and it never fails to give me goosebumps.
It really does depends on the game. I only recently played the original Super Mario Bros, and i really enjoyed it.
Then again, i also recently bought and started playing Final Fantasy 6 and....it really hasnt interested me in the first half hour of gameplay.
The most horrible way i've woken up was after a particularly odd dream. I wont bore with the whole dream, but at the end i got struck by lightning, and it actually felt like i was slipping away into death.
Had to intentionally force myself to take a breath, and it woke me up as i did. very...
I have usually finished all the games i own. It seems odd to me people wouldnt.
Of course there are exceptions, usually if the game doesnt have anything to capture my attention, but I make sure to finish all my games.
