Heroes of the Storm Launch Brings New Hero, Cross-Game Goodies

There's a skin with a full-coverage helmet. Does that count?

NY Woman to Become Fire Fighter Without Passing Physical Exam

I don't know for sure, but it's a jump that took place immediately after a relaxation of requirements. It'd be strange for the relaxed requirements to have almost no effect. That said, if anybody knows where I can get more information, I'd love to look at it. Scores from this year would be...

NY Woman to Become Fire Fighter Without Passing Physical Exam

So, last year saw the graduation of 286 firefighters out of a class of 319, while this year saw 305 graduate out of a class of 320. I'm frankly more worried about the (approximately) 15 guys who don't know how to handle hazardous materials or perform inspections than the one gal who can't...

The "Americans and Canadians can finally talk about Age of Ultron" thread (*spoilers*)

Ultron replaced his primary unit with a bigger one between the fight on the truck/train and the fight on the floating city. I think Cap and Thor were fighting different units.

Poll: Do games need beefier women?

    I'd certainly appreciate it.

    Superheroes Don't Kill

Just so long as we're clear that it cuts both ways: Batman doesn't get to know that the Joker's escape is inevitable any more than he gets to know that the Joker will be replaced if killed.

    Superheroes Don't Kill

Why do you think the Joker keeps breaking out? It's not that he gets out because Arkham can't hold him, it's that Arkham can't hold him because the story needs him to get out. Killing the Joker because he will inevitably escape is making a decision based on knowledge of the medium; he's only...

    Superheroes Don't Kill

None, because Batman is going to fight a supervillain every issue. If not the Joker, then somebody else. Indeed, it's arguable that sparing the Joker saves lives, because the Joker is established as a threat; so the stakes are high as soon as the Joker shows up. A new villain would need to...

Check Out Batman v Superman's First Teaser Trailer

If you're going to reference "plenty of people" as a defense that it's a good movie, I'm gonna bring up Rotten Tomatoes. Snyder's highest score on the Tomatometer is 75%, and three of his six films are rotten(below 60%). His worst is a 23%. Contrast Nolan, who's done 8 and never had one below...

I don't think Heroes of the Storm is a good enough game to support an eSports community.

Three games a day is easily enough to keep your log from overflowing, as long as you can use the right categories of hero. I'm set up for about 6 games on Wednesday, 6 on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday, with the occasional game on other days to clear up any leftovers(like finishing up an 8 games...

Currently, no. Wouldn't surprise me to see that added at some point in the future, though.

Sure, I get that. I just want to make sure the data is accurate. You can save up to 3 daily quests indefinitely(though if you have 3, you stop getting new ones), and you can't get a quest you already have. So if it's support and you don't like the support in the rotation, you can just work...

The primary gold source in HotS is dailies, so measuring gold per game is non-optimal. You can reasonably assume between 300 and 350 gold per day, meaning you can get a 10k hero about once a month.

You get all the abilities at level 4. There are more levels after that, but they reward gold and cosmetics, not in-game abilities.

    Netflick's "Daredevil" & Torture

The criminals and terrorists don't get a pass. They get punished, in the form of being arrested/beaten/killed by the protagonists.
