The game. And I just lost. After years. As for computer games, I'd say Nethack. It's about the only one I do get back to every few years (even though I suck way too much to ever have ascended). And boardgames, Diplomacy. Too bad it takes so long to play.

I'm quite sure that when VGA was the best there was, there were people that thought it couldn't get any better. When full 3d games were introduced (and everything suddenly had to be 3d), the quality of graphics went down initially, IMO. I suspect we'll have some similar change in the future...

I see it as a dynamic piece of art; you are supposed to explore, and discover, and be amazed over the things you find. In that sense, looking at a full image is a bit of a waste.

It's not really worth the money anyway. I loved skyrim itself, but through dawnguard it was mostly 'meh'. Luckily it's not that long :p I guess you can play it twice but I haven't bothered.

I use Linux-based systems daily, and only go back to windows for the occasional game. It will be very interesting to see how this works out. It will be even more interesting to see what the next step will be; if you have steam running on a free OS, you can also make 'steam-on-the-go'...
