I agree. When OL first came out I didn't have access to decent internet speeds, and I probably still might've had issues even with the current fastest speeds where I live, not to mention I'm still not sold on the idea of "buying" a game on a service that doesn't even let me download a file...
I'll be glad if they just lower the HP on the wall walkers. They weren't challenging, just repetitive.
I'm not sure how I feel about a Deadly Premonition sequel, especially since the producer want's a direct sequel. Silent Hill 2 was an indirect sequel and wound up still being the best game...
I'm willing to bet that 99% or more of the people with phones capable of playing games don't give a shit about the games industry. Most probably don't even realize that taking the "free" version or sharing the game with their friends is piracy, and most of those that do realize it's piracy...
I think if Mojang were left out of the suit we'd be applauding the guy for fighting back against the big corporations.
I'm a little confused now, because the last article made it sound like he just comes up with vague patents just so he can demand royalties, but in this article it sounds like...
I was kind of thinking the same thing. I'll listen to GOG over EA any day because of the 2 big differences between the distribution systems.
1) No DRM or applications to deal with. You download an exe file, install your game, and that is the last you ever need to deal with GOG if you so...
I agree. I think the ideal formula for a Star Trek game would probably be something like Mass Effect 1 (I actually think of Mass Effect 1 as Bioware's attempt at making a Trek game), with its emphasis on role playing and exploration. Kirk might be known for his rough and tumble nature, but he...
Spoiler for Max Payne 2:
The way the second game ends it wouldn't really have made much sense if he kept dwelling on his family's deaths. It just would have made it obvious that the original writers weren't involved.
End spoiler.
It seemed to me like it played about as well as the...
Now if you could explain why it's so damn expensive to give my NPC war buddies in (Insert name of any shooter made this generation) a personality.
Honestly, I'm not so worried about quantity in my games. A four to six hour campaign is alright if it's so good I want to play it again every...
Considering the business model is reliant largely on emotionally and mentally unstable people, we should all be at least a little surprised that social gaming hasn't gone down the tubes big time until now.
People who bought the beta (at a significant discount over the final version) get all the updates and the final version free if I understand correctly.
Speaking of which, will it mean that I have to buy it again to play it on X-Box?
I actually think video recording and uploading to Youtube...
I got a 2GB SD card for $20 and it works like a charm, and is the only extra space I'll ever need (It's something like 10x the Wii's internal storage). The port for the card is in the front panel you flip open.
What is Sony supposed to do? Let people think that enough signatures on a petition will save the game, giving themselves false hope, then pull the plug anyway? There's no good way to handle a situation like this, and at least Sony is giving players a 6 months notice, and even 3 months for free...
IT professionals aren't soldiers and hackers aren't the Navy SEALS.
At worst IT professionals are mall cops and hackers are skater punks with spray paint that think if they vandalize the mall enough they'll "make a difference".
At best hackers are the guys that broke into your house, raped...
On Live is only $10 per month and has no waiting time between playing games. I haven't tried it out yet because the DSL internet where I live is probably too slow, and the cable internet providers suck. If the technology for cloud gaming improves and it catches on, we won't even have to wait...
