    The Secret Knowledge

I thought you just said that Thor 2 was impossible to follow if you hadn't seen the first one in your recent review.

    The Big Picture: Baggage

Excellent video. I'm tired of the popular resistance to critical analysis, and this idea that looking for deeper meanings or relating works to broader, real world topics is just "reading too much into it."

The Time I Wasn't John Marston

I found it extremely easy to retain a sense of "being in character" just playing as John Marshton, without any frustration from trying to do so. I'd ride into Armadillo, park at the bar, then walk (not run) across town to the sheriff's office, stopping at the shops on my way to pick up some...

    LoadingReadyRun: Rapidfire 3, Episode 5

I'm surprised everyone was so into the Bob Ross sketch. I didn't think it was all that good. But it did make me want to watch his show.

    LoadingReadyRun: Jonny Five

The Johnny skits are gold, but I admit, I really wasn't feeling the green screen. Would it have been that hard to set up a red curtain on a stone interior wall and locate a fancy chair for him to sit in? I also felt like this one wasn't as intricate as the other ones. Basically only one thing...

The Big Picture: Original Geek Girl

Sigh... why do I have to wait Bob? Why? 2 part-ers are ever the double-edged sword. Anyway, I'm sure there's a lot of good discussion going on here about the "geek girl" phenomenon, but I don't have time to read through it, so I'm just going to throw in my two cents. Gamers and comic/fantasy...

LoadingReadyRun: The Birds, The Bees and The Bears

I'm 20, I've never been steadily employed (and barely been anything remotely close to employed), and there's almost no chance I'll have moved out of my parent's house by next year. feelsbadman.jpg

Shit guys, I'm rolling. That video was great.

    Moviebob's Re-Tales

I liked this. The Sailor Moon story was kinda touching actually. I'd love for you to do more like this, Bob.

    LoadingReadyRun: Pocket Planes

Maybe it's because I've never taken an airplane, or maybe because I don't know what pocket planes is a reference to, but I just didn't like this one.

Study Concludes Exercise Games Aren't Helping Kids

Clearly you do not play DDR on the higher difficulties. And like I said, it differs only in efficiency. You might burn more calories per minute running than walking, but given enough time, you can still walk off calories equal to a half-hour jog. You can replace a jogging routine with DDR; you...

Study Concludes Exercise Games Aren't Helping Kids

Why not? The energy spent expanding and contracting one's leg muscles to move a bike is the same kind of energy spent to step along in DDR isn't it? I imagine it differs only by efficiency with regard to time, which is easy to correct for.

Study Concludes Exercise Games Aren't Helping Kids

I'm not saying give Jimmy a cool 20 bucks to join the lacrosse team, I'm saying encourage it. Play sports with your kids, set a good example by exercising yourself, or just do your best to make it sound fun. Despite your assertion to the contrary, I don't see any reason that healthy choices have...

Study Concludes Exercise Games Aren't Helping Kids

Sometimes that is necessary, I agree. But surely it would be nice if they did want to do things that are good for them, right? Well I don't think it's such a pipe dream. Eating healthy and exercising is more a matter of circumstance and habit, I find, than a conscious choice. If a parent could...
