I wasn't that crazy about Fahrenheit 451. Also, I nearly fell asleep watching the original King Kong, the production of the film itself was more interesting.

To be quite honest, when I saw a trailer Kick Ass, it looked more like, to me at least, a satire of Watchmen, just with younger kids. Don't know if I'm going to see it though.

What is with the shakey-cam fight scenes? It's unbelievably incoherent. Also, did anyone else find it weird that Sam Worthington is the only one with a shaved haircut?

For me, it's gotta be Pleasantville. Fucking love that movie. Truman Show is also really good.

Even though Avatar is most likely going to win, I'm still rooting for Up. I want to see an animated film win. This is the second time I believe that an animated film was nominated for Best Picture. (the first being Beauty and the Beast.)
