This is like deja vu to the comment section in the Polygon review I just spent a good half hour reading today. It's like people just copy pasted to or from there. The exact same arguments, accusations of lack of objectivity, of my opinion is better than yours and average reviews are not allowed...
I tend to mostly play female characters, unless the game's protagonist is specifically male, so I have played as female Shep throughout the entire trilogy. I have seen played (and even tried once) the male version and it didn't really work for me, because the voice acting does make female...
A bit late to this thread but I got the following, which I think was a good haul for me even though one of the games could have paid for a 2-3 others.
Strike Suit Zero (gifted to my brother)
Skyrim: Legendary Edition
Mark of the Ninja
Deus Ex Collection
Knights of the Old Republic II
I still have my original Mega Drive (apparently called Sega Genesis in the US?), with most of my original games from that era. And it's in working condition too. Sometimes, for nostalgia's sake, I'll put in one of these games and bask in the wonderful graphics and music. :) At some point in my...
So far it's been about 16? but that was because I didn't have much extra money to spend until yesterday. I'll let you know more in a week or so...... err....
Updating to about 40? now because I bought Skyrim Legendary Edition. Previously got Fallout: NV Ultimate Edition, KOTOR II and Deus Ex...
Most of my characters in different games have different names. I tend to vary a lot. However, I have noticed my propensity to name my characters with names started with A. I like A-names, especially invented fantasy-like names. Allya is a favorite. Arya. Allyara. Ashallea. A something or other...
I came into Doctor Who with the 2005 new series without having seen a single episode of any previous series and knowing nothing about it. I guess it was more of a British thing during the previous series and only when it rebooted with the 2005 series did it really reach out more internationally...
Since you pointed out some MMOs, have you tried Star Wars: The Old Republic or Neverwinter? Both free to play. The former can be played sorta like a single player campaign in the Knights of the Old Republic universe (which you definitely should play too) and different classes have different...
The problem with Dragon's Dogma is that it does not exist for PC... I really wanted to play it. I guess I'm one of the few people in the civilized world without a Playstation or Xbox.
That's... a giant turd... what? What possessed anyone to pay for that? Or even make it? Then again, we do live in a world where a toilet is a piece of art.
Agreed to many already pointed out, especially Lex Luthor and Magneto.
Another one that comes to mind is Grand Admiral Thrawn from the Timothy Zhan Star Wars novels. A calm, collected, frighteningly effective tactical and military genius who could anticipate an enemy's moves through the art...
Oh dear, I don't even have words to describe how scary that thing looks. The huge hanging "boobs" are just... I'm not sure I want to know what inspiration was going through the artist's mind. And they city paid 170k for this?
Agreed to all points, especially 2 and 4.
My game buying tends to be a mix of both digital and disk. Usually indie or older games through digital means (gog, steam, indie bundles) and latest releases on disk, because I can buy them from online retailers much cheaper than most digital...
I was just today checking out gameplay videos from Beyond: Two Souls and it looked great storywise. Really digging the whole interactive movie aspect. Also saw some videos of Remember Me that made me want to play it. How awesome does that memory tampering seem?
