    The Customer Is Always Wrong

Ugh. I had the same problems. I'd forgotten about that for the most part. Fortunately our company had a version of warranty the customer could buy, and in the event they got their phone wet (and apparently everyone does. Seriously, who showers with their phone?) we had a number they could...

    Your DnD Characters

Ohh, I suppose I'll say something... I had a character in BESM (Big Eyes, Small Mouth, not DnD, sorry) who was a bit of a nutter. He was one of those "True Neutral" types. Gotta do the bad with the good. Have to keep the balance. He started with a high Soul stat, but quickly sold most of that...

    Terminators vs Alien Invaders

Pooh. When you said "Aliens", I assumed face hugging, egg laying, acid blooded, mini-mouth, people eaters.

    The Customer Is Always Wrong

Oy... The most memorable incident I have is when I worked for my Dad, who had a franchise of Verizon Wireless stores. I sold cell phones out of one of his stores, and it was pretty much me, by myself, at this store, for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Business was slow because it was a new...

Have we found the next Still Alive?

I dunno. When I first saw this on TV, I thought it was cute. That's pretty much it. A little catchy, but mostly just cute. So when I heard the full version of the song (thanks to the First Post and YouTube), it was a bit of a let down. The full version isn't nearly as interesting or able to...

Poll: Batman the dark knight favorite scenes/ characters

I was actually a big fan of the entire opening bank job. That scene set you up for Joker's wild runs later on by making you expect his crazy and bizarre twists right off the bat. Personally, the only thing that would have made it better, is when the grenade blows out smoke, it popped the top...

WoW and the hate towards it

I tried it, didn't care for it, and really found it to be lack luster in actual enjoyment. I also prefer the nickname "World of Walking", as that was my major gripe. Want to go adventure? Better strap on your carrot on a stick and get hiking! It'll be 30 minutes before you get to a spot where...

Warhammer Online Announces Open Beta Dates

Well yeah it is. 'Open Beta' doesn't mean everyone and their mom get in for doing nothing, it means you have to fall under certain obligations. In this case, pre-ordering and having participated in the Closed Beta. That's how it's always worked for MMOs, I believe.

    Piercings

Let's see. Almost within three months of me being evicted from the Army, I got my ears pierced. Two in the left, one in the right. I like the way it looks because the asymmetry of it. I later got my left nipple pierced because I have a tattoo on my left chest, starts up by the shoulder, goes...

Poll: Poll: Are you a closet Pokemon gamer?

I liked Pokemon enough to read through that whole bunch of 'strategy text' and follow along without a problem. But I tend to not discuss it in public because it's my secret guilt. I love the cartoon, I love the games, and I love the card games. My only problem is that every time a new game...

    Most pointless warning label

Now, while I do hate to defend, or even appear to defend, such idiotic lawsuits, I have to step up a second and mention this: Everyone assumes a lot of things about infamous McDonald's Coffee lawsuit, in which a woman sued them because the coffee scalded her. Normally (and I say this with...

Warhammer online - Minimum Specs Announced

They may have 'front loaded' the minimum specs like that, which wouldn't shock me as they could still consider the 65% landmass as part of the game, regardless of if it's released later. I mean, people would BMW up the wall if they felt misdirected on how much space was needed for the content...

    Cuil...I like it.

I've heard about it. Supposedly it's from a bunch of Google guys who decided they could make a better search engine. I haven't gone about testing it, as really Google does more for me then searching, so I continue to use it. But who knows. They may be the next hottest thing. EDIT: Although...

    Poll: Avatar or Name?

A little of Column A, all of Column B for me. I use the Avatar's for "fast reference" and the name for confirmation. But even that doesn't always work as I have the memory of a sea slug. For the most part though, if I see a particular Avatar, I'll expect a certain style of posting: especially if...
