well, the game plays through with more or less in 4 meadows. one tropical rainy meadow, one snowy/hilly meadow, one lush and forested area and one normal meadow. and the re-use of dungeons was really annoying.

I can't help but remembering how bored I was when SSBM came out and one of my friends invited me over to play with like, 8 people. But everyone else seemed to be really into it, I felt bad nagging them to play DoA or Tekken instead.

huh, from the demo i played of turok, i felt that the controls were not sensitive enough, even on the highest setting it would take me about 2 seconds to do a complete 180, and when you're being flanked by 8 dinosaurs that's no good. maybe the sensitivity is different on the 360 version?

i dunno, if you actually spend some time trying to figure out the controls to the game it becomes quite fun. its alot like god of war, but with the appeal of a female lead.

whats to say the portal will s tay inside the box? it would seem more logical if the box moves the portal will stay where it is

i think youre missing the bigger picture of why blu-ray is enticing. as you mentioned the difference between dvd and bluray are negligible, but thats not the important part, and i feel sony failed to market the fact that the bluray disc, when double layered, can store about 50 gigs of data...
