Whatever, just wash your hands.
Guess that's why they keep remaking it, even tho it's only worked once.
Twice, people forget the 3ds remake. Really they need to just bump the setting up 100 years, do different characters.

Oh, I didn't forget Star Fox 64 3D. What I meant was that out of the four times they've more or less made og Star Fox again, those being 64, 64 3D, Zero and this new one, only 64 was a hit. The 3DS one did do 1 mil, but it took like a decade to get there, and Zero never appeared in Nintendo financial reports so never hit 1 mil. Nor did any of the other games save for Adventures, but that's beside the point.

Tho of course we don't know yet what the fourth one will do. Maybe it'll work again.

I don't remember Assault being good. Is that the one where they kept trying to make on foot combat work?
Personally, I think it was a much better game than Star Fox Adventures.

The third-person shooter part was kinda annoying, IIRC. But I liked the on-rail shooter, and the arena-style firefight sections.

The original Star Fox was a favorite of mine. I haven't played any other SF game since then. So a new SF is neat for me. I mean if it's a remake of 64, I never played 64, so it's new to me!

It comes out right before I'll be flying cross Atlantic so it could be weird for me to be flying my Nintendo plane while sitting on a IRL plane hahah.

Considering that Adventures was a bad Zelda like, seriously, how many times do you need to see that stupid collection animation.

Then go for it, Starfox 64 is an excellent game. There is a reason its been so hard to move past it.

Marathon is supposedly really good (not my thing at all so I have to go by what I read) so it will be a really interesting to see if that's enough to right the Sony+Bungie ship.

It isn't, not judging by the player count on steam. Playstation could have 90% of the audience and i still dont think it's enough players to sustain it for long.

Imagine all the games Sony could have made for 3.6 billion dollars, including but not limited to small projects.

January 31, 2022, I wrote:

I would have spent that 3.6 billion dollars starting up new PlayStation studios and making games. Diversifying the lineup that way. More PC ports as well. If Bungie continued to make games that people want to play, they would survive on their own, as a third party. We gain nothing from this.
I know I wrote a post two years ago about all the games Sony could have made with Concord's budget. I remember some guy mocking my high number and then explaining to him that only some of them would be big games.

Edit: Found it. The post was about Microsoft buying games for Gamepass, not Sony. But it could have been about Sony too.

Me: Imagine the twenty awesome exclusives they could make every year with 1 billion dollars. No wonder they're last.

Him: It would be just 5 exclusives since AAA games now cost 200m.

Me: I said "awesome," not "slop." Awesome still sells. They just never give it a chance. Would not be 50 million per game, obviously. Some would be bigger in scope than others.

The average idiot player has better foresight and could run a video game company better than these fools.
