I was using Brave.
Didn't even know that one exists. Interesting name.

BTW Phoenixmgs, the PS3 was known for crappy controllers that only have a ten year lifespan.Once people noticed all them breaking down. My GameCube, and the controllers I got still work the day they came out of the box. I only ever broke one GameCube controller through wear and tear. All of my games still work too on my GameCube, or Wii. All of my Wii controllers still work too.

Yeah, the analogue stick on one of my PS3 controllers doesn't work great. I have a replacement, but haven't got around to installing it. Also the sticks on Playstation controllers always seem to get slimy over time.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is hands down the best version of this game that has been re-released over a dozen times. Yes, it's a port of the HD Remix, but improves on further by adding so much more content, ironing out any gameplay issues the HD version has, you get Evil Ryu and Violent Ken, two new modes exclusive to the Switch exclusive (one of them being Dramatic Battle called Buddy Battle), and has a color editor! You can switch between classic or modern visuals, so even if someone does not like the HD redrawn sprites and visuals by Udon, you can go to the classic pixels at anytime before starting a game.

The only knocks against this game is that you don't get the Overclock Remix songs from HD Remix (not a big deal because the soundtrack you can get online easily) and Dramatic Battle's lack of a continue. You and your co-op buddy share the same life bar, a la Street Fighter Alpha 1 & 2, but if either of you get KO'd, then you're sent back to the title screen. No matter the difficulty setting. Why Capcom? It's one thing to punish a player or players for failing, but there is no reason not to put in a continue option. If you're playing on the harder modes, it makes DB much less fun to play compared to the variations of it. The Alpha games never gave you automatic game overs, and allowed to continue at anytime, or as long as you had quarters on you. This makes Dramatic Battle the weakest out of the franchise though. Still fun, but irritating game design that was not needed.

Metal Gear Solid's graphics have aged better than pretty much every other 'cinematic' game for the original Playstation. Not having a higher-quality set of models for cutscenes went against the grain back then, but it means you don't have to constantly compare the gameplay models you spend more time looking at unfavorably to them. Who knew, right?

Bring back in-game advertising like how iit's done in Crazy Taxi, that was fun.
I say don't because publishers won't foot the bill to renew those licenses, and with all games having to be downloaded soon there will be no way to preserve the original version that had the ads. The publisher of Mixtape paid for the licenses (songs) in perpetuity, but too many pubs won't. Even your own example, Crazy Taxi, lost the ads, eventually.

Besides the fact that it only works for a pretty limited number of types of games. Basically, if it isn't a game like Crazy Taxi, then those real-world advertisements tend to be jarring and immersion-breaking, even in games that are nominally set in 'the real world'.

I never understood the glazing Chloe got beyond "lesbians are great".
I get at the time, young LGBTQ people or gaming critics were looking for more positive representation of female character, but reeks of desperation or seeking anything that looked better than Japanese and/or main stream gaming in general. Saying: "Hey, this game it's right! I know it!". Not helping matter, there character already better before Chloe even existed, during, and afterward especially. Genuine fans of the character, I hold no animosity, and they can do as they wish, but there are so many better options than her at this point. Be the characters female, straight, lesbian, trans, etc.

I thought this horse was dead enough, but apparently it needs a more thorough beating. It is hilarious that Sony is leading this all-digital charge after being the same company that made light of the absurdity of the idea to spite Microsoft when they tried to push the DRM when the Xbox One/PS 4 launched. Remember how obviously easy it was to share games a decade ago? Yeah, they're making sure you won't be doing that anymore.

Sony originally was going to do the same thing MS did, but MS happened to go first during that year of E3. Sony backed out at the last minute after seeing the reception. The scenarios could have been reversed, if Sony went on first.

I guess the lesson is it's a bad, self-serving idea. Stop selling a product when you're ultimately selling a service. Don't charge me $80 for GTA6 when I'll never own it. If digital is the future, then the cost of digital needs to reflect this evolution; dont charge me ownership prices for something I'm effectively renting.

Hence why both Rockstar and Sony can both get fucked. Though Sony has pretty much dug their own grave; they're just to blinded by greed and arrogant stupidity to notice.

I never understood the glazing Chloe got beyond "lesbians are great".
There's a lot to dislike about Chloe, but I found most of that was by design since she's meant to be impulsive, self-destructive and angry because she's been perpetually in mourning. But, I think it says something about her and the person she could be when:
Its ultimately her who suggests to Max that she use her powers to return to the day this all started, and not act to save Chloe's life in the bathroom and let the fallout from that bring justice to the situation. However much of a ***** she is in the game - and she is - it takes some pretty serious stones to volunteer to die cold and alone on a bathroom floor from being gut shot to save a town full of people you actively hate and have them never know

Now like loads of characters in fiction, some people take a surface read and think Chloe's just an awesome smack-talking ***** who's on a mission to find out who murdered her (girl?)friend and damn the consequences. Age her up 20 years and give her a badge and that's the protagonist of dozens of cop movies. Or they think she's an ungrateful, spiteful, emotionally manipulative loser who is literally only not dead because her best friend/new girlfriend has superpowers. Age that version up 20 years and its the villain of dozens of Hallmark movies.

Neither interpretation is incorrect but she was never a character people were gonna be lukewarm on.
