The only thing that fries are good with being dunked and drenched in is a frosty from Wendys.

I'll pass on that, though if you are eating Wendy's poutine it's not the best. It's sad.

I think you're just Stockholmed into thinking that poutine is good, especially when curds are involved.

I'm not a french Canadian and never tried poutine until my 20s, so i haven't been forced to love poutine, this was a personal choice.
there is this place up here that sells poutines and philly cheesesteakes. Lovely shit man, when you've got meat and the cheese melts: It's a lot like nachos really, lots of people do it very poorly (to date the best one i've had is at a turkish household). but once you've had it right it's great.
though no matter what, bad poutine >>> dry fries
