Alright, I'm starting to buy into Erin having powers that bring characters out of their games. The medication inhibits her powers and Rad doesn't want to go back to his game...

Like in Season One of Heroes! There was a guy who (before Skyler killed him) had the ability to foretell the future through his paintings.

You mean Mohinder? Yeah, he was an awesome narrator...

Spoiler: Although...

I wonder why he's narrating in Heroes Reborn if he's supposedly "dead"...

OT: If Rad's the Insider, then is Erin really is the Outsider? Or is it really Gunny??

Though yeah, what is the box thing? The Fight Club theory doesn't explain a box with an exclamation mark on the side. All I could think was MGS or something. Any game references to having a metal box with a "!" on it that glowed brightly?

As Rad is from a long forgotten late 80's/early 90's platformer game, the !-box is likely a Mario-esque powerup box. I am thinking his manifestation of his gameworld is a frozen wasteland now that no one remembers/plays anymore and he doesn't want to go back to it. Hence him keeping Erin off her psych-meds and him free to run around and hang out with someone. But that is just a spitball guess, will need to see if they show whats going on in the snowy setting.

Rad is Tyler is Erin.

Hmm, ok yeah I could see that theory. I'm still waiting for the shots of the room covered in feces and vomit, with her insane scribbling on the walls as her schizophrenia takes full control of her and makes her leap out the window. Probably won't go that way, but a guy can dream I guess. Though I do kind of like the idea that this might be their swan song for the character Erin, so they can write her out of the Critical Miss stuff. I've noticed she's showing up in those strips far less than usual. Which I'm glad for personally. If they removed her from the series entirely, I might actually follow their work regularly with enthusiasm.

As much as I enjoy Erin Dies Alone, it saddens me when I think it may be coming at the expense of having Erin in Critical Miss having to deal with Link and others. More hallucination, MOOOORE! >

Mohinder wasnt the Painter, Mohinder was the scientist who tried to understand the mutation that causes these abilitys.

The Painter, who got killed by Sylar, was Isaac Mendez.


And hell, i didnt know Heroes Reborn is a thing. Gotta go watch that now.

That's a good question. Erin might be the outsider, since she's trying to get back into something she once loved, or it could be Gunny. But then again, was was Lee Everett the narrator in Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 2 if he was dead as well?
