Yeah, but Erin doesn't seem the type to have built up those toughened feet ahead of time. Heck, I doubt many people have, and even modern professional dancers get injured a ton, ending up with broken toes, blisters, and pouring blood from their shoes after a hard night.CyanCat47 said:shoes are nice but the skin on your feet hardens after a while and bisters and such become infrequent. trouserson the other hand are going to become a necessity when they get to the snow zone we saw in rad's dream. hypothermia is only one part of it. no trousers+freezing temperatures=urinary tract infections. seriously, the romans wore skirtss and togas and thought the germans and gauls were barbaric for wearing trousers. that attitude did not last long when they got to germannyRebel_Raven said:I'd be fighting for shoes. her open top will probably also cause pneumonia or even tubercolosis. in short erin better hope this is an RPG with loot drops. as for the whole hardened feet thing it's true that it takes years but considering all the walking you do in a JRPG most people would probably have feet like ghandi by the endRebel_Raven said:Yeah, but Erin doesn't seem the type to have built up those toughened feet ahead of time. Such toughness takes time, and it's probably time no one has.
I'd think that walking around barefoot in the snow would be detrimental, too, regardless of how tough one's feet are. I'm not super sure they're going to they snowy place in Rad's dream, but almost every game has a snowy area they gotta go to.
At least all but some slim areas of her legs are covered, and we do't know what properties the cloth has.

until she gets the evolution gem and her clothing probably turns into a few pieces of colourful pieces of cloth so thin they might as well be dental floss, shiny shoulder plates and a pair of high heeled shoesRebel_Raven said:Probably.CyanCat47 said:her open top will probably also cause pneumonia or even tubercolosis. in short erin better hope this is an RPG with loot drops. as for the whole hardened feet thing it's true that it takes years but considering all the walking you do in a JRPG most people would probably have feet like ghandi by the endRebel_Raven said:Yeah, but Erin doesn't seem the type to have built up those toughened feet ahead of time. Hey, maybe she'll club some random NPC over the head, and take their clothes? Will it be a sneak attack, or a
"I need your clothes, your boots, and your (insert mode of transport)" sorta thing?
While everyone walks around, Erin hasn't benefited from that yet. Unless it's part of the class, she's likely in for a world of hurt feet. Could have Gunny carry her like Master Blaster, or something.
Shoes would be an evolution for me.CyanCat47 said:until she gets the evolution gem and her clothing probably turns into a few pieces of colourful pieces of cloth so thin they might as well be dental floss, shiny shoulder plates and a pair of high heeled shoesRebel_Raven said:Probably.

Maybe if she get's S rank in "support" with someone. Which fire emblem romance would be funnier? erin/rad, erin/gunny or gunny/rad?CyanCat47 said:until she gets the evolution gem and her clothing probably turns into a few pieces of colourful pieces of cloth so thin they might as well be dental floss, shiny shoulder plates and a pair of high heeled shoesRebel_Raven said:Probably.CyanCat47 said:her open top will probably also cause pneumonia or even tubercolosis. in short erin better hope this is an RPG with loot drops. as for the whole hardened feet thing it's true that it takes years but considering all the walking you do in a JRPG most people would probably have feet like ghandi by the endRebel_Raven said:Yeah, but Erin doesn't seem the type to have built up those toughened feet ahead of time.
