here's a fun drinking game. take a shot for every injury the impractically skimpy women's garments in JRPGS would provide no protection from whatsoever simply from exposure to the elements surrounding the characters at any given time.

I'm sure her tank woes will be solved by finding a warrior guy that's prettier than she is. And probably a healer even prettier still. >.>
shoes are nice but the skin on your feet hardens after a while and bisters and such become infrequent. trouserson the other hand are going to become a necessity when they get to the snow zone we saw in rad's dream. hypothermia is only one part of it. no trousers+freezing temperatures=urinary tract infections. seriously, the romans wore skirtss and togas and thought the germans and gauls were barbaric for wearing trousers. that attitude did not last long when they got to germanny

Yeah, but Erin doesn't seem the type to have built up those toughened feet ahead of time. Heck, I doubt many people have, and even modern professional dancers get injured a ton, ending up with broken toes, blisters, and pouring blood from their shoes after a hard night.
Such toughness takes time, and it's probably time no one has.

I'd think that walking around barefoot in the snow would be detrimental, too, regardless of how tough one's feet are. I'm not super sure they're going to they snowy place in Rad's dream, but almost every game has a snowy area they gotta go to.
At least all but some slim areas of her legs are covered, and we do't know what properties the cloth has.

I read the title and the first thing that jumped into my head was:

"This...is step ONE! SECURE THE KEYS!"

Sorry, my friends and I have been playing Black Ops II Origins a lot.

The Crystal is proving to be as big on railroading Erin as the DM in "DM of the Rings".

Note: I love how Erin's reply to the Crystal is covered up by the Crystal's word balloon just enough for censorship purposes but not enough to prevent us from discerning just how warm and gooey she feels about her new outfit.

This arc is proving to be the best one yet in this comic strip. Kudos, guys!

her open top will probably also cause pneumonia or even tubercolosis. in short erin better hope this is an RPG with loot drops. as for the whole hardened feet thing it's true that it takes years but considering all the walking you do in a JRPG most people would probably have feet like ghandi by the end

Probably.

Hey, maybe she'll club some random NPC over the head, and take their clothes? Will it be a sneak attack, or a
"I need your clothes, your boots, and your (insert mode of transport)" sorta thing?

While everyone walks around, Erin hasn't benefited from that yet. Unless it's part of the class, she's likely in for a world of hurt feet. Could have Gunny carry her like Master Blaster, or something.

JRPG characters/class outfits wearing shoes, or actual appropriate clothing in multi-terrain battlefields? Better alert the presses! They clearly don't need shoes or actual useful clothing items though; no frostbitten toes/fingers, no messed up hair, etc. I feel bad for Erin though - a fanservice class and not even sandals or flats to match the attire, so let's hope she has that JRPG character design armor.

It does remind me of this though....is foot fetishism on the rise or something? http://oi65.tinypic.com/2lvjr6h.jpg

until she gets the evolution gem and her clothing probably turns into a few pieces of colourful pieces of cloth so thin they might as well be dental floss, shiny shoulder plates and a pair of high heeled shoes

Shoes would be an evolution for me. :p
What kinda heels are we talking? You can dance in high heels, even in platforms, though the dance has to adapt. Being in them all day is another matter, depending on how well the shoe is crafted.
I like salsa, but Erin doesn't seem to be the type. Still, you can do the salsa in heels. I see Erin more as a glowsticks raver sort if anything, though. Magic could make it happen. Or the right/wrong potion creating hallucinations?

Maybe if she get's S rank in "support" with someone. Which fire emblem romance would be funnier? erin/rad, erin/gunny or gunny/rad?
