Getting a job and having to act like an adult is probably the main thing. Other than that I have nothing since I still sort act the way I always do.

It's kind of weird, your new avatar is adorable but I kind of thought of the cat as being actually you, which is kind of dumb when I think about it but I don't really come here to think so yeah... thanks for that.

OT: Yeah, a few years ago I was stuck in a dead end manual labor job. I'd go home everyday and complain about back aches and annoying people. So I went back to school at night, got a degree and now I have another dead end job. But the pay is nicer and I sit behind a desk trolling forums all day so it's an upgrade. I should probably go back to school again soon.

Slickkkk new avatar! Unfortunately, I see lots of pussy cats now in other peoples posts. If I hadn't seen the change first, it would have confused me. Very funny situation you guys are creating!

I went through a major shift in my life after my parents died. I had to grow up pretty fast if I wanted to overcome the new challenges I faced AND get back my sense of self, since I lost it that day. I find that usually changes of this nature are always worth it though. They also, in a big or small way, usually define who we are.

Yeah, it seems this thread ushered in a new age of kitty cat warfare as well as a bunch of other people changing their avatars. OT's devolved into madness!

OT: I think my main concern is committing to these changes. I'm historically unmotivated, so this will be a test! Thanks for the boost though!

As for me, I've pretty much always done sports and gone to school or had short term jobs so nothing really life changing for me xcept getting into the Police College of Finland 2 months ago and now really enjoying it. So it's the first time I am really living away from home and studying at college level but I'm just 21 so no stress

Maybe I should be a good citizen for the next year, get my mod record wiped clean and then crash and burn like a boss. For all of those frequent posters teetering on the edge of a permaban it'd be like eating $100 bills in-front of homeless people.
