Going back to being 8 years old. Hm. Yeah, in a second. No questions. I'd have to take back a diary of notes as a reminder for all the stuff I need to do, but yeah, why not. I don't doubt that a little push here and a tug there would have changed my personal life, and indeed, my friend's personal lives, for the better.

Plus I could win the lottery then buy a bunch of stock in whatever's going to sell well. You know, for kicks and giggles.

Well for starters I would F*** the living crap out of all those girls that were warm for my form but I was too dense to notice it at the time. Cripes, when you're twenty, young and stupid...
This, a thousand times this. Oh so many times, this. Though it'd be more when I was 15 rather than when I was 8, obviously.

Depends, yes you can fix mistakes, but does that really fix some things? I mean, I'm sure we've all had some personal event in our life that "scarred" us in some way, but if you retained everything it wouldn't go away in your head. After searching as to why I'm so introverted I was able to pinpoint one event that kinda shaped that. Now I could go back and avoid this situation, but it would still be in my head, never truly correcting anything.
I can still remember the screwed-up moments that defined my life... etched into my memory...

Now I wonder what it would be like to be a 5 year old, with those horrible memories...

Well, they aren't THAT bad, but they are moments...people... in my life I would like to forget.

I don't know. I have lived through things that would make poodles ugly, and Yahtzee imitators funny, so I think not. By luck I am still happy to be alive because of some events, and when I would go back, and the same would happen, I could very well be fucked. Maybe I could change it all, but I don't think so. But yeah, I would know all the games, technology etc of today. I would probably make thousands of dollars of money by selling game ideas to company's like Call of Duty 4, GTA IV. I could prevent the death of Heath Ledger etc. Yes and no, I don't know.

The previous events are like Shivari said, they've made me kinda shy. Not horribly shy, but a little bit.

Nope, without those experiences I wouldn't be who I was today. Although I made many, many mistakes, I've done many good things too. I'm happy with where I am, and am content on living from here.

Easily. I'd use my knowledge to become incredibly rich, or the leader of a nation, and then I'd use either my wealth or power to figure out a way to destroy humanity once and for all.

I'm a little surprised at all of these responses. Remember, you're going back retaining all memories that you have now...so you're still the same person, you're just in a younger shell is all.

I would probably start out by enjoying being a child again (i would be 8 as well), I guess it is something that most of us regret. Then as i grew older i would actually try to grow up (even though I have failed miserably to change myself in the past), instead of becoming a nerd i would aim for a normal teenage. I would also learn from all the mistakes i had done so far and be overall more satisfied with myself. Possibly write everything down and publish a book one day. Would also mess around with people by "always guessing right", trying to appear mysterious in such way that people get confused on however I am just really lucky and everything is just a huge coincidence or that i actually have supernatural powers.

(I would also bust the cancer way earlier)

No. That would suck. Ten years is a long damn time, and chaos theory states that all the little changes I make would completely alter the future (present?) to a point where it would be entirely different. Different friends, probably different university...

Plus I can't even remember all the little mistakes I've made so I probably wouldn't change them and I might end up making bigger mistakes due to my all knowing arrogance.

I would. It would be awesome to relive the last ten years and fix all the mistakes and life choices I've made. I woulden't worry too much about saving people from all the natural disasters and stuff like 9/11 but i would help to make a chage in the global warming and environmental problem. Plus it would give me an economic boost for taking over the world =D.

Wow, I'd be one intelligent 9 year old.

Hmmm.. I'd save my SEGA from my grandmother (who ended up giving it away while I was out O.O) And I'd try to develop some kindof study ethic.

the idea is interesting, i would be 12 but what would/could i change? a few stock tips to the family to gain investible wealth, embrace my athleticism more, use certain knowledge to gain advantage in competition, make different choices towards girls, although the consequences would be losing a close friend.

I like the way I turned out, but I think I would have done the job thing a bit different. I mean, I'm not complaining now, but I think I could have gotten to where I am now a bit sooner.

I would love to go back, only as a baby. How great would that be
"Who am I?"
"Why you are my mother of course. Who else would it be, silly woman."
*Everybody looks in shock*
"Why do you all have that idiotic look on your faces. Fools."

Double Edit: And I'd start writing a draft about this young Wizard called Larry
Unfortunally a book about a young wizard named Harry was published eleven years ago.
Ok, I'd just buy a few shares in Bloomsbury.

Yeah I wouldn't enjoy the whole baby period as much. Especially the breastfeeding part.
