Well, since there isn´t a subforums for "Technology", i taught that posting it here would be for the best.

The story is, i need a new PC. I have all the misc. components (Mouse, Keyboard, Harddrive, Display) but i need to compose a new "box" for 1000 EUR (thats 1300 dollars).

I would like a rough estimate what should be in that PC.

Thank you in advance!

Goody goody! I haven't had this in a while. Let me go look.

EDIT: I'm back! Here's a list for a good core gaming box:

Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - $159.99

MSI 870A-G54 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard - $99.99

GIGABYTE GV-N570D5-13I-B GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI-e - $359.99

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - $139.99

OCZ AMD Black Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory - $79.99

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor - $144.99

All said, that's $985.99 USD, which translates to 757.69 Euro. You can use the extra money to buy whatever I left out that you may need, such as network or sound cards.

I'd replace that CPU with something a little more powerful like an i5 750, or, waiting a couple weeks until Sandy Bridge comes out.

I would wait a couple of days untill sandy bridge comes out, will be quite a lot cheaper and a bit more powerful then the current i7 and if you buy a new ASUS motherboard you will also get UEFI (Replacing BIOS) which will make your computer start faster.
