No idea how much discussion will actually come from this, and if this is TL;DR, just read one and address that, but for my 1000th post I couldn't actually think of anything epic enough, so I'm just combining all the suggestions for the big 1000:
1. Halo: Combat Evolved was a revolutionary game, the series as a whole made for an interesting, if not amazing story, and has got undeniably addictive online play, though of course there's lots of bastards on there. The gameplay had a few really cool features, but overall was not far above average.
2. I'm pretty sure if we stuck some little children on an island to fend for themselves, if they managed to stay alive would come up with the idea of 'God', which would be pretty solid evdience that 'God' is simply an idea, rather than an actual being.
3. Pillows are over-rated. They always seems to either slide up, leaving my neck at a crooked angle, are too cushiony, meaning my head sinks into them, leaving my neck at a crooked angle, or are just plain uncomfortable. The cool side of the pillow is awesome however.
4. Embarrassing...well most stuff I've done I'm not actually embarrassed about because they don't really bother me, but last week I got slightly drunk and seductively waved at my friends Mum, who I'm yet to actually meet. Embarrassing things from when I was little include pulling down my trousers in our local convenience store, trying to go to the toilet on one of the toilets in a bathroom showroom, and being both sick and urinating in my Dad's mouth (but that was when I was an actual baby). Ooh, and accidently 'soiling' myself when I had Meningitis about a year ago, had to be cleaned up by a nurse...that was awful, though in my defence I was dying.
5. I don't think that parents who cannot look after their children properly based on a disability should be allowed to have children, if both parents cant look after the child. On Red Nose Day this year they had a report on a child who's parents are both practically blind, as well as his little brother, so there's this 11 year old kid looking after 3 people on his own, on top of school (and he has literally no time to do school work, hence he's failing) and looking after himself, and plain growing up. To me it seems really unfair on him that his parents decided, considering the fact that they wouldn't be able to look after him, to have children.
6. Did you know that there's a religion where they believe that we were created by blue monkeys from the planet of giant worm eating moon eyes who flew to Earth and jumped on the lumps of Jello mushrooms? It was founded yesterday by Twilight_guy.
7. There was something in this which could well have got me banned, but I decided it would be just way too horrible (actually horrible) and would offend probably everyone on this site and everyone would think I'm an evil, evil person.

Christmas story...well I can't be bothered to come up with an actual story, but one Christmas my sister was reading a book in bed while waiting to open presents in the morning, accidently poked herself in the eye with the corner of the book and couldn't see in that eye for most of the day. She was not happy.
10. Coke is made by dying villagers, if you pay attention to the fact that everyone is gradually getting to the point of their death. However, these villagers, upon their deaths, are liquified so that Coke will have enough stock to release new Soylent Cola.
11. Porn...do you really want a picture of me naked in a seductive pose?
And thus concludes 1000 posts, 13 months and a hell of a lot of crappy topics (of which I have unfortunately played a fair part), random topics (gravity-reversing squirrels!), deep topics and just plain cool topics.
