As part of my 1000th post, I thought I'd comment on an observation I did earlier.
The internet is a place teeming with cynicism. If you are grammatically incorrect, you will be torn apart like prey, and although I agree that grammar is important, how rude people can sometimes be over a simple mistake can be shocking. Along with conspiracy theorists, and atheist & religious virtual dictators, life on the web is a huge downer; even the news is guilty of ignoring the positive and glorifying shocking and tragic news.
So today, as part of my 1000th post, celebrate by typing something good about yourself. Yes, you read completely correctly. There is no catch; there is no punishment. Simply state something positive about yourself. It can be about your intelligence, appearance, family, past events, or even possessions. Go on, give it a shot!
I'll start: I am by far the best gamer in my family; it doesn't help at all that the only competition owns a Wii, (not being rude, they only have two games on it, and the oldest is 13) but that's definitely a plus about me.
