In theory, as a futuristic space marine, he should be an expert marksman...as such being an archer would be a perfect fit for him.

Evidently firing a bow is trickier than firing a gun, as we learned in a previous comic.

They characters are clearly FF7 inspired, so he needs to stick some materia in his weapon, armour or body. Rather than buying spells.
