If you've got a better way to kill a man at 100 yards without running out of Mana, I've yet to hear it.

Erin made the mistake of thinking armor = tank, but as we can plainly see in this comic, tanks aren't all that good.

Choose Monk class. Run close to your enemy. During 100 yard run avoid all ranged attacks thanks to great agility and reflexes. Punch enemy in the schnoz. Feel awesome.

Jokes aside, with his amazing power, Gunny would've been amazing warrior/monk/paladin/whatever. But it's all for comedy, so it's fine.

Yeah...don't think those generic Final Fantasy Bad Guy Soldiers have a chance of getting through that high tech space armor. That things rated for defense against plasma rounds, regular bullets ain't getting through.

It's all tactics - people always assume Archers are weak in melee and defense, so Gunny taking that role gives him an advantage over everyone who thinks they can just lock the ranged attackers up in close combat.

Plus, he gets so many more surprise attacks this way. Nobody ever expects the archer to jump on top of a tank and bend the barrel in half!

Space marines inserted into almost any game results in madness... Halo borrowed them and well thats all madness fun but as insane as Cortana(which was terrible writing), games workshop is madness as normal(and may sue us all one day as frankly they're better at that than making games or figures anymore).

But yeah will be intrested in what actually can stop Gunny as frankly he's a bit over powered for this.

Only if you're going solo. In a party it usually comes down to punching everything in the taint. What with everyone's focus on the tank and all.

Regenerating health; although to use it he apparently doesn't need to hide and suck on his thumb for ten seconds.

OT: I haven't commented on one of these in a while, but man, this is too funny to let go by without some praise. I especially love that someone threw a toaster at him.

I am really fond of the idea of putting a character like him into a final fantasy type battle where all of the turns and battle gauges simply don't apply as he wreaks havoc.

Trouble is, he's not much of an archer. The one time we saw him try to shoot someone with his bow, it was a Critical Miss (ah ha, ah ha, ah ha).

This actually makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Gun fire in this game has been shown to be very weak and Gunny is from an FPS where he's suppose to be able to survive a lot of gun shots. So in this place their guns don't have a chance.

No, he just has a good health regen, and their guns can't do a lot of damage to even characters with low armor ratings.

So, as long as some evil wizard or whatever on the Corporation's side doesn't show up before he finds a way to escape, Gunny should be fine.
