Does anybody else see this number everywhere or is it just me?

Okay now the post count gag has worn off I feel I can contribute...

There is actually a naturally occuring phenomenom that we often notice certain digits more often than others...

I went through a stage when I saw 9:11 as the time almost everyday for a week. I was getting pretty freaked out by it.

Whenever I see 1138... As in THX 1138... I'm always noticing it, especially in films when it is often done in hommage. But seeing as my count was 1138 at the time of posting I just thought I'd share that with all you good people...

People have been known to see the same number everywhere. Whether it's simply coincidence or something else, I think it happens to everyone. For example, the number 666 has been following me around while playing Tales of Symphonia.

if you get a new car, when you drive it you will pick out how many people who have the same car as you.

it's just natural for humans to do this

It's interesting how 'trendy' one can be since you could be driving through the ghetto in a Turismo then suddenly every kid and his mum has one...

Any thoughts on why we might notice things like this? I can't really think at the moment...
