All Left 4 Dead 2 Maps Soloed On Expert By Crazy Person

"Titsonabull" burns through all 13 of Left 4 Dead 2's campaigns on "Expert Realism" difficulty without the aid of bots.

Some people can play the entirety of Super Mario 3 without having Mario stop moving. Some people can clear Half-Life 2 in build computers in Minecraft [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/125767-Half-Life-2-Speedrun-Record-Falls-To-Sub-90-Minute-Game]. Left 4 Dead 2 expert "Titsonabull" can finish the game's entire campaign mode on its hardest difficulty setting without the aid of any bots.

As if you didn't already feel bad enough about your stupid friends not being able to cover your ass while you try to fill up the car with gas in Dead Center, this guy does it all by himself. The two-and-a-half minute highlight reel shows how Titsonabull gets out of some of his hairiest situations, including being cornered by swarms of infected, "tounged" by smokers and pounced on by hunters. His weapon of choice appears to be the automatic shotgun.

It should be noted that "Realism" mode is an extra difficulty modifier that sits on top of the usual Expert difficulty. In Realism, only headshots will kill zombies, the Witch will instantly kill anyone who she hits, and the glowing outlines around weapons and special infected are removed. Expert difficulty basically buffs all of the regular and special infected, while making medkits and other items spawn at a much rarer rate.

If you're interested in seeing how he completes each level, you can check out the full playlist [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcId_Lo5LGTPdN7qJqg2cFp6vZ4E9YrtF] of his playthrough on his youtube channel, and ask yourself what the most impressive thing you've accomplished this week was (mine was cooking dinner).

Apparently, Co-op is for pussies. Also, now I want to play L4D again...

Haven't watched the videos yet, but if this is true I can only take my hat off. That is a gaming level of skill I could never hope to match. Hell, my friends and I have trouble with most campaigns on normal, with 4 humans and voice coms. I cannot conceive a single person being able to do any of the end stages of the campaigns on any difficulty, let alone the hardest. It's inconceivable!

Major props for a gaming achievement very few people in the entire world could even come close to, let alone reach.

This is the kind of achievement they don't make achievements for.

I remember some story about some group trying to complete every campaign on Expert, and their race against the clock due to Valve patching things. They were basically using glitches and bugs to win, and whilst the story was good...

THEY DON'T GOT SHIT ON THIS GUY!

What I don't understand is how one escapes from the hunter, charger or jockey in particular. And startling even one witch (admittedly, avoidable) and it's straight down.

EDIT: Well credit where it's due, he is good but won't have a high kill count. Which ultimately is secondary to surviving. The worst mistake one can make in L4D2 is trying to stand your ground, to stand still. The trick is to always be moving in the right direction. But to do it solo is amazing.

Surely that required dozens of attempts and the patience of a saint to not ragequit at all the unlucky fails. Sounds like the result of a lot of hard work.

Question from something I just noticed. Once the tank is aflame, he seems to stay that way indefinitely. Is that the case? Presumably then, he will eventually die from the constant flame damage? He cleverly avoids him, and the flames don't seem to go out. Will the tank eventually die without the addition of any bullets?

Yes, a tank nor any zombies should extinguish. They burn till they die. Though with the tank, if memory serves me, he runs faster when he is on fire when it's the AI.

OT: Props, I've beaten dead centre on expert, that's about it. Not very good at the game, but at least versus with friends is fun. :p

I was just about to say "Okay, now lets see him solo it on realism expert", then I realised that this WAS realism expert. Jesus, it took me and my friends long enough to complete them as a group of four. Props to this guy!

Played this game for 15mins, I kept on dying and swarmed by zombies so I said fuck it.

Note to self: the Spas and baseball bat is OP.

Basic technique seems to be to run so fast that the game forgets to spawn more zombies in front of you. Didn't watch all that much, but it looked like half the time he was pegging it through empty corridors.

Would take some honed reflexes to never let the special infected get the drop on you, and he clearly knows every map like it's his own living room, but this is not as exciting to watch as the 'trailer' made it out to be.

Yeah, I like to consider myself half-way decent at that game...but the hardest difficulty I can tackle it solo on is Normal. ^^;

But I do have a question...if he was doing true solo (so no bots, as the article said) and he beat ALL the campaigns......how'd he finish The Sacrifice? Don't you need at least one person on the bridge and one person to become The Sacrifice? o.o

I just can't help feeling that "realism" may not be the most accurate description here. "Expert", on the other hand, is possibly understating it a little for this guy.

Don't want to rain on his parade but he has edited the weapon configs. You can tell from the crosshairs that there's next to no weapon spread. You'll also notice he uses shotguns a lot, with the high damage output and pin point accuracy over a long distance does give him a massive advantage when using a shotgun with no weapon spread. Here's the weapon config tutorial http://l4d2.gamebanana.com/tuts/9280. Compare his shotugn gun gameplay with this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od9wve5ZTA0 you can tell easily the difference

The guy is quite good, but he has cheated.

Soo... he played a piss-easy-game on his own? Woopdi-freaking-do... Others did that already. Heck, I finished some of these campaigns solo on expert. IT'S NOT HARD IN THE SEQUEL! BECAUSE THE SEQUEL IS NOT HARD ITSELF! (which is one of the gazillion reasons why the sequel sucks in every way imaginable)

This, and Expert is also by no means the most difficult setting (as the article even ADMITS, Realism is) making this misleading in two ways.
