So, their best strategy would be to sell them at a near-normal price?
If by near-normal you mean cheaper than normal. Then yeah, if you want to sell something quickly then setting a low price is normally the most effective method. The other being finding someone who really wants to buy it, but in this case I don't think that will be hard.

The most interesting thing in this news is the name of the town: Mississauga.

What the hell? Mississauga where the hell is that? xP

In Halton district outside of Toronto.
it's in Peel Region, hence the Peel Regional Police and if you read the article you'd have found that out too

Halton is Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills and Milton

i'm pretty sure they took it from the m$ depot they have there cause that's the right area for that or it's a futureshop depot, i forget and i'm not bored enough to go find out

Ah. Right I was thinking Burlington. I mostly just answered to say it's near Toronto since that is something people would know.

It's always Peel Region. Have you noticed that?
Most of the industry and warehousing in Southern Ontario has moved to the Mississauga/Brampton area over the last 20 years or so.

I lived there a couple of years ago. I got the sense it's still pretending it's just a sleepy suburb of Toronto, when it has almost 700,000 people now and is Canada's 6th biggest city, and home to a lot of industry and finance and the busiest airport in the country. I lived near the City Centre, in a nice apartment down the street from where they were putting up quarter-million dollar condos, and in the two years I lived there, there was a stabbing, serial sexual assaults, and a murder victim found in my neighbourhood. (Of course, a coworker who'd lived in Mississauga for years said a lot of times, Toronto criminals will kill someone in Toronto, but dump the bodies in Mississauga.)

Your co-worker has a disturbing insight into the workings of body dumping.

Sounds to me it was just some concerned citizens trying to do thier community a favor by keeping them off the street (out of the stores.)
Hmm, because those people didn't want to have people wasting money on something that doesn't live up to expectations? Interesting....
In that case shouldn't they have hijacked a truck carrying PSPGos?
