I'm not sure I fully got the joke with this one, and what on earth is happening in that second to last panel?
Aw Rad looks a whole lot more cute when clinging to a flag pole for life. Now, did he just reflect incoming projectiles with some form of spinning maneuver, or am I misreading here?

Well, for the 2nd-last panel, remember that Rad is a Sonic Expy, so that could be some form of Speed Dashing.TallanKhan said:

To answer a few things (my opinion/idea if the artists explain otherwise.)
Second to last panel Rad's an animal~animal (human's are animals too sorta) that can walk on two legs so that's him scurrying around to avoid fire not a spin dash or anything.
Alien Army has different kinds of aliens with different kinds of weapons (like Halo) so the ammo is color coded for visual reference as to what is being shot at you Earth tech usually has different fire rate ala shotgun/pistol/sniper/etc.
Green and Blue projectiles are alien based weaponry so "flying" straight isn't a requirement for them to work properly so their arching in the general area and/or don't move in a smooth angle like mortar rounds or baseballs.
The main joke is Rad didn't capture/retrieve the flag and have it, he's so small it has him.
Last panel's just Rad getting mad their shooting at him with shots in the fore and background.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought of Sonic's speed dashing; what Rad was doing looked like the flagpole variant.Mr.Mattress said:

I thought it was him trying to take the flag, and knock it down/steal it. Then in the last pane he's pissed off that he cant take the flag, and just sort of like "Really?!?" at the whole situation, and the fact that his team isn't helping him take it.... possibly setting up the inevitable falling out between Gunny and Rad.
