Burnout 3 isn't exactly a racing game. Think of it as a fighting game with cars.Tanis said:3) Burnout 3: Takedown:

No God Hand, Odin Sphere or SpiderMan 2 either. Someone get the Ordo Hereticus in here.Vedrenne said:No mention of FFX or KH1&2. Extra heretical.
Yeah, this list is invalid.Vedrenne said:No mention of FFX or KH1&2. Extra heretical.
Too bad Burnout: Revenge was better.Frezzato said:Burnout 3 isn't exactly a racing game. Think of it as a fighting game with cars.
It can become exhausting because it's composed mostly of adrenaline, broken by moments of higher adrenaline, with bouts of sweaty palms.
Traditionally: yes, that is indeed what backwards compatibility has meant. For example: the PS2 was backwards compatible in that you could slap a PS1 disc in there and play it.Defective_Detective said:Backwards compatibility surely implies that the original PS2 discs ought to work with the PS3/4 right?
Or did I miss something?
Yeah, I don't really consider it that either. I hope it will work like the Xbox One's "backwards compatibility," in that you can insert your old disc, the console reads it, and allows you to download a version of that game that will work on PS4. Of course, that model also means you have to have the original disc handy every time you want to play the game, because the downloaded version won't work without it.Defective_Detective said:I'm not really sure if "ability to re-buy select number of emulated PS2 games from the PSN store" is really backwards compatibility.

Good. Never liked these games.Vedrenne said:No mention of FFX or KH1&2. Extra heretical.
You actually have to put the game disc in the console to play it? How barbaric! I can't see how anyone would ever accept playing games like that.ffronw said:Of course, that model also means you have to have the original disc handy every time you want to play the game, because the downloaded version won't work without it.
Annoying as that might be, it would still be better than having to re-buy content you already own.
Oh, same here. The annoying part is that you have to put the disc in to prove you own it, but the game won't play from the disc. It has to download a digital version. Of course said digital version won't work unless the disc is in. It's a little annoying, but not overly so.kris40k said:You actually have to put the game disc in the console to play it? How barbaric! More seriously though, while I enjoy my digital distribution systems, I have 0 problem with just shoving a disc into the machine.
