No mention of Dragon Quest 8? Or Timesplitters? Or Breath of Fire 3?

[insert Son, I am disappoint meme here]

OT: Not a bad list, but as more of an RPGer, I was hoping to see some more love toward the genre for the PS2.

WE HAD GOOD GAMES, TOO, DURING THE PS2 ERA!

In addition to some of the games mentioned by other people above, I would add the .hack games to the list. Though personally, I like the G.U. trilogy more than the first series.

As someone who adores the PS2, has over 500 PS2 games, and is currently bored...I'm going to totally pick apart this list.
;)

1) Okami:
-The HD version, superior version, is already on PSN.

2) Silent Hill 2:
-Yeah, yeah you got me there.

3) Burnout 3: Takedown:
-Never was a big fan of racing games, so no idea.
4) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater:
-Available in more than one way via PSN.

5) Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
-HD collection is actually rather solid.

6) God of War II
-SEE: 5.

7) Shadow of the Colossus
-SEE: 6

8) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
-SEE: 2

^_^
Actually... only Burnout isn't available to be played in some form on PS3. Which is really odd.

This was written BEFORE I knew GTA:SA was going to be on PSN.

Have you PLAYED SH2 on PSN/HD Collection?

Only balls of crap is it poorly ported.

Like, Batman:AK levels.

Yes... I've played it. Its pretty good if you patch it but the patch takes forever to download. But it is a poor port.

And actually I'm pretty sure GTA has been available as a PS2 classic for a long time on PSN. They just pulled it to re-introduce it with trophies.
