I'd also like to add The Property of Hate, Dumbing of Age, Cucumber Quest, and The Rock Cocks (NSFW, it's a porn comic)

Yeah, I'm not going to try and shill all the webcomics I read because that would take way too long. I'll stick with Atomic Robo, Broodhollow, Cucumber Quest, Grrl Power, Gunnerkrigg Court, Lackadaisy, and Paranatural.

Anyways, good list. I've at least looked at all of them except the last, which I'll probably give a miss; I'm not that fond of surrealism.

I only read one: Questionable Content. Dilbert makes two if you count that.

Yes, accuse it of melodrama. Yes, the forums are a screaming nightmare. Yes, Jeph Jacques can be a real prick (not Tim Buckley levels, but a prick). But the characters are good, the quips are funny (though not as funny as before), and it does drama without being overly in your face about it.

I find your lack of Darths and Droids disturbing.

I'm also annoyed by the lack of Sluggy Freelance. I've followed that webcomic almost every day for close to a decade now. It deserves all the advertising I can throw at it.

I'm reading a few comics that I enjoy to varying degrees. Cyanide and Happiness, because of course I am.

Nerf This is another one. It's not that well written or funny. It rehashes the same jokes over and over again. Sex jokes, mustache jokes, and dapper finery/badass jokes. But the art is astounding. It's really good to look at.

Dangerously Scene is made by the same guy, but the writing is significantly better, as the characters are fairly interesting and the fighting magic is pretty cool. The beginning kinda moves without any direction, but when it gets to the main plot, it get good. Not great, but good.

I'm reading a Doujinshi that I find adorable called Dating a Team Magma Grunt. The artist lives in Korea, however, and was drafted for about 2 years or so, so the comic is on hiatus for now. But what is out right now is actually really enjoyable and, like I said, cute.

Nuzlocke is really good as well. It's the origin of the nuzlocke challenge, and the Fire Red arc was really good. I'm assuming that the entire thing was an homage to Lost, but I still found the plot and characters really engaging. It's decently drawn as well. The major drawback is that updates take forever, as this has been being made for quite some time now, and the creator hasn't updated since Christmas, with his other hiatus taking over a year before he returned.

One that I really love is called Prequel or Making a Cat Girl Cry: The Adventure. It's about a young Khajit woman attempting to start a new life in Cyrodil after ruining her reputation in her homeland and leaving due to shame. What makes this comic so engaging is that she is an utter screw up and is knocked down repeatedly, only to get back up and keep going. When she gets hit, she gets hit badly. She's an alcoholic, a sexual deviant, a klutz, gullible, and spends the entire comic attempting to make up for her various mistakes. And I love it. Probably the most interesting thing about the comic is that the readers can type in "commands" to the character for suggestions as to what to do next. With this, the story is actually kinda sorta driven by the readers as well. There was a segment in which she was stuck in a second floor room and was about to attempt to grapple down the outside wall when someone told her to just stamp on the floor to get someone to unblock the door to the room she was in, and it worked. It's really engaging, the artist has clearly grown in artistic skill, and there are even some little games that the creator has made to aid in the experience of certain segments in the comic.

Indeed. I recently backed its kickstart which hit a whopping 87,000! I guess it did not help that the author made a raunchy fanfic a mini-comic stretch goal at 80 grand. XD

Do I need to bring out the list again? The one of the only good webcomics?
Because only one of them is on that list.

No mention of Bug Martini? It's kind of a stupid name, granted, but it's an excellent comic.

Most of my favorites have been covered already, but I'll add a few more.
Manly Guys Doing Manly Things www.thepunchlineismachismo.com
Real Science Adventures http://www.realscienceadventures.com/ Atomic Robo side stories done by guest artists.
Stick In the Mud http://www.konradokonski.com/SITM/ The main character loses his job, gets blackout drunk, then wakes up to realize that he's now the owner of a bar that sits over a portal to the underworld. (occassionally NSFW)
Zebra Girl http://www.zebragirl.thecomicseries.com/ 3 roommates find a magic tome in their attick that accidently turns one of them into a demon.
Zen Pencils http://zenpencils.com/ Inspirational Quotes made into cartoons.

Dr.McNinja and SamandFuzzy. I consider these to be essential webcomics to read. They've both been running for over 10 years. And they are still excellent. Dr.McNinja is coming to a close though, the comic is on its final arc.

I'll second The Property of Hate. Both the art and story are fantastic. Seriously, it is really underrated.

Unsounded is probably the most polished webcomic I've seen. The author clearly puts a ton of effort into drawing out the panels and writing the story. And it updates 3 times a week!

Homestuck is probably my all time favorite. I'd suggest going in without getting hung up on the details, or the pacing, or anything else. Just roll with it, and it will be much more enjoyable to read.

Cucumber Quest - I'm not sure this one really needs explaining. Just look it up.

Paranatural - I don't know, it's just really fun.

Star Punch Girl doesn't have any dialogue, but the art is really good. Unfortunately, it doesn't update often, but you should still check it out.

Girl Genius - duhhhh
