based on what you've said it makes little difference that after using the ipod and iphone of a friend of mine i am more happy using my samsung mp3 player and my samsung verizon phone with two way flip feature and a whole keyboard. my biggest problem with the iphone is that it doesn't seem to be too comfortable as a PHONE, it's a big hunka black plastic where you put the touch screen up to your ear to get earwax all over the place you're suposed to touch. no thanks. sure a blue-tooth headset is nice but simply put i want a phone not a damned accessory whore.
as for the ipod, my mp3 player may have no way to organize the music i've put on it but i prefer to play at random anyway, and when i used an ipod i noticed how touchy it was, you could swtich songs and move from album to album without wanting to, bad feature as far as i'm concerned. oh and my player can handle more formats than an ipod infact the only audio format it can't play is that ludacris mp4 format itunes uses.
now i won't say these ithings are really bad, but for me personally, the things i look for in a phone or an mp3 player, i've got in these two things, sure i have complaints about them too but honestly i prefer them to everything else i've tried
as for games, my mp3 player came with a couple nifty games on it and i can put a few more simple ones on it if i want to waste the space. on my phone the games aren't that great but i've never put much importants on this new mini/mobile games that are mostly bullshit.
