#158: Lying

Okay, two things learned:
1. I think we finally got the name of our pink-haired fireball-throwing lady (even if she's apparently still a bad healer): Althea.
2. NEVER PISS HER OFF, now that she's easily capable of the mentioned fireball-throwing.

I like her more every minute. Sadly, we won't see her turn the CEO into a tiny pile of ash. But maybe she'll melt the Crystal in one or two pages, who knows?

I think her name was given earlier in some way, don't quote me on that.

From an unwilling and struggling student healer among her race, to a willing (but struggling) healer in the service of the Crystals, to an unchained fire-mage with seemingly limitless power...and yet she still instinctively sides with the Crystals.

I guess it hasn't yet been enough time for Althea's recent epiphany of "never let any authority figure ever dictate to you what your purpose for being is" to sink in.

Which is a shame, because tenbux says she dies in the next strip at the hands of the Crystals, as "you have outlived your usefulness, and know too much".

Seriously though, I am really enjoying this character. Hop she is the one sucked out of the game after it is done like Gunny previously. Wonder if Erin is gathering representatives from various gaming worlds for some overall reason relating to the tower.
