"Anyway, instead of the standard MMOG exclamation mark this game uses a flaming ring as the symbol for "This bloke has a quest for you, why don't you chat him up?" Not just any ring, but the icon is obviously The One Ring. The single most evil object in the history of the entire world. This is like using a pentagram containing a flaming swastika made of horned skulls as the universal symbol for "help wanted".

I've got nothing else to say.

I'd kill for that hat, and I miss being able to whack out an instrument, attempt to play a song with the party I was with whilst we were waiting for someone.

I just found my new sig line...

"I'm sure the deadly beasts will be no match for my lute and iambic pentameter."

Love it. Love it!

Iambic pentameter is for poems not music, you're a very ill educated minstrel. Everything else was hilarious though.

I can't wait till Weathertop. 'After slaying a few orcs, I see something resembling a jail. I open it up... and out comes a CAVE TROLL.

How does one go about making green shoes in ye olden times of Middle Earth? Green cows? Grass-stains?
Anyways, they're clearly worth the deaths of whoever you had to kill to get them. I guess you'd say they're accessories to die for.

Wow, the people of middle-earth offer clothes to Hobbit women to make them kill people, good deal to me.

I would like to point out that the non-combat extras in LOTRO simply rock. Pipe smoking and lute playing for the win!

Oh Shamus.. you're not by chance ACTUALLY putting these songs to music are you? Love to see your abc files...

Anyone else find it kinda weird that people in fantasy settings tend to refer to each other by race rather than by name? Greeting someone by calling them "elf" or "hobbit" sounds as awkward to me as saying, "Hail, whitey!" or "Greetings, black man!"
