Shamus Young's latest Experienced Points column describes his latest foray back into the time-sink that is WoW. Even if you've quit WoW (for now), do you plan on re-activating your account to get a taste of Cataclysm?

I've played WoW a bit, ages ago on a friends account. Made a tauren fighter, got to level 7.
Luckily i didn't get addicted, the game didn't have any appeal to me. Maybe if i started again i would be sucked in, but that's why I'm not gonna play it again. I've seen how WoW can destroy your life.

OT: I want a 'Maybe' option.
I haven't played for months and stopped visiting websites like mmo-champion.com for a while but since the beta has come out my interest has been sparked again. I'm in the pro/con fase as it is right now

Voted beta, because I basically plan to tour whatever's changed in Azeroth with a single 2-month card and on my flying mount. But once that's done, I'm done. I've gotten tired of where the community is going (even on what I consider to be a pretty good server overall) and mechanics-wise nothing is evolving and everything is staying pretty much the same. The only thing that might be changing is every one of the 10 classes feeling more and more similar to each other regarding their playstyle and that's not something I'm keen on sticking around for.

I most probably shall. The only downside to WoW, apart from it's lifedraining demands of time-investment, is that I get bored of it after a few months. Each expansion has been a bit of fresh air to treat that.

I've got 7 days free from a Blizzard "Please come back and give us money" offer so I'll probably just use that once Cataclysm hits to have a look around at whats changed.

Blizzard offered me a free week ages ago, but it mysteriously disappeared the next day so it won't be that. I'm not excited for it, I'm not opposed to it, but uh...maybe I will if I feel like it.

I voted for nothing because I couldn't find a suitable option.
