On a more realistic note, when it's figured out what the brain would look like when it was still actively being used, that could lead to some more discoveries on the recent evolution of the human brain.
Which might be duller than it sounds.

They are thinking on it, but the brain hasn't really developed much in the past 2 millenia. The Yellowstone park ones are a more likely candidate at 8k.
