So we are already halfway through 2011, i know right? time has flown right by and its already been a big year for gaming with the PSN fiasco and E3. So i ask you fellow escapists, what has been your most memorable moment of 2011 so far? it dosn't have to be big so personal experiences are allowed! also what are you looking forward to most of the year head?

Probably the bioware trailers at various conferences, although Battlefield 3 looks interesting enough for me to consider buying it.

I still think it's a little premature to try and pick a memorable moment of the year.
That said.. I guess the weird 2 days in which there was the Royal Wedding and they killed Osama bin Laden? That was a random yet memorable contrast lol

EDIT: Oh! Eurovision 2011 marked the return of Italy too, introduced me to the Jazz musician Raphael Gualazzi :D

The thing that sticks out to me most...
I bought Marvel vs Capcom 3 at launch, partly because I wanted to get on before everyone else had a shot to get good at it. I started off by going 0 and 30 online. My ego has never recovered.

There haven't been any games so far this year that I've really loved. Nothing released so far this year would have made my top five last year (but last year was incredible). But little things like experiencing Wonderland in Madness Returns, bringing down a High Dragon in Dragon Age 2 (on hardcore, I've yet to try Nightmare), or playing the hilarious Portal 2 were highlight moments of the half-year.

Been a great year to be gamer (hacking incidents aside) so far and it looks like it will continue, personally I'm looking forward to Deus Ex, Skyrim and the Team Ico HD collection. Not to mention some great games such as Infamous 2 which I've not had the time to get round to.

I think it is funny how much Duke Nukem Forever Sucked :p

But exploring the new world of Skyrim seems like something I have looked foreward to since I beat Final Fantasy XIII.

Seeing what people thought of Deus Ex Human Revolution from those playing it. From the trailers and stuff I had no interests and was planning on perhaps renting it but from hearing from people playing it in previews and stuff it sounds like it could be even as good as the first one. I will perhaps even buy it (which is a pretty big deal for me for I have no life so I can usually beat a game in a rental but the first two Deus Ex games were highly replayable to me and still are) (I would be happy if it was even as good as Deus Ex Invisible War). Also, happy that Witcher 2 coming out for Xbox 360. =D

Also, just tried the free trials on onlive recently and found it cool but odd how it works. Doubt I will buy anything on it anytime soon but I find it to be highly cool even if it has its faults.
