Okay as we all know there are plenty of games in the coming 360 days that people want to play. Regardless of Wii/PS3/Xbox 360/PC discourse, many of these games look amazing. So which ones are you looking forward to?

I'm waiting for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, L.A. Noire, F.E.A.R. 3, Duke Nukem Forever, Homefront, Portal 2, and Skyward Sword.
6 games will destroy your wallet?

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT.

I bought 20 this year, brand new at full price.

And at least 25 used or on sale.

My wallet IS broken.

2011 gets nothing out of me except for Dragon Age 2, Pokemon Black AND White, and Skyrim.

Possibly F.E.A.R. 3 and Arkham City. Possibly.
Agreed. In the last 12 months I bought 21 new games and 5 of those were collectors editions. Not to mention pre-owned games.

Admittedly some of them were older games like Bioshock which I bought new as a "Xbox 360 Classic" but I still payed $50.00 for them.

(Note: the 21 games wasn't one-up-manship I genuinely went and counted them.)

Dragon Age 2 (maybe, I'll see what it's like when it's released)
Portal 2 (I'm a bit cautious about this one though)
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn came out last year (and I currently have it) so that's not on my 'this year's' list.
Infamous 2 (Ice-powers? Hell to the yeah!)

Well theres 4 games I'm getting for sure, Dragon Age 2, MASS EFFECT 3, Skyrim, Arkham City, and The Old Republic if it comes out, especially the old republic, I'll have to get a new computer and then the monthly subscription.

Edit, forgot about guild wars 2.

I'm waiting for the giant "DELAYED" stamp to start falling. So many good games in one year? Hell no. Ain't gonna happen.
Your preaching to choir here. As soon as everyone pushed their games back to avoid Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Black Ops, I knew everything would get pushed back again.

Portal 2 got pushed back, but really, is anyone shocked?

OT: Homefront, Dragon Age 2, Cathrine, Deus Ex, L.A. Noire, Portal 2, ME3, BulletStorm, Brink, Elder Scrolls V, and of course Gears of War 3.

EDIT: That's an awful lot of shooters on my list...

EDIT: I probably won't get all these games :_(

I don't care about any of those. Maybe Portal 2.

But Elder Scrolls 5? Hell to the yes.

The problem is somewhat mitigated for me due to the simple fact that the majority of the games just aren't my type of game. Oh sure, there are some decent RPGs coming out, but a lot of them have wound up on my likely "wait and see" list due to the simple fact that a lot of them seem to be being dumbed down to an extreme degree.

In roughly 5 days one of my big purchuses/risks for the year comes out, that being "DC Universe Online" which I have spent nearly $100 pre-ordering the collector's edition of. I decided this after being in the beta for a while, I just hope it lives up to the potential and we see content additions quickly enough for it to maintain a player base.

"Old Republic Online" is going to be another major hit, and perhaps the source of some hard desicians since I simply can't afford to maintain three simultaneous MMORPG subscriptions. It's slated for release this year, but I'm not holding my breath. Truthfully I'm suspecting the "EA Louse" called it right on the criticisms and the game is being held back while they get it in shape for release. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed up until Christmas or into next year.

2011 seems like it's due to be a good year for casual and mainstream gamers, and as a result doubtlessly a good year for the game industry's sales figures sadly enough. On the other hand I am suspecting it's going to be a drought of sorts for me, with me waiting for a lot of reviews and impressions over the long term, and probable price drops.

I will also say that I do not think "Skyrim" is going to see 2011 release. It would be nice, but it seems bloody unlikely knowing Bethesda.

Yeah, I'm not going to have any money because of games this year, and it's all the fault of a certain group of Canadians.

Mass Effect 3, plus Mass Effect 2 DLC
Dragon Age 2
Gears of War 3
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Rage, hopefully
Elder Scrolls V

just looking at your given list...

Deus Ex: Human Revolution: I do want to try this game out, but I don't know if I'd pay full price for it early on.
L.A. Noire: Honestly I haven't heard much about this game thus far...
F.E.A.R. 3: Ehh haven't played the prior two so...
Duke Nukem Forever: This might be a full price just cuz...unless it totally bombs of course.
Homefront: This game is the one I am most interested in. They have big ambitions, and I hope they pull it off!
Portal 2: Excited to see how this turns out, but I don't know about full price.
Skyward Sword: I consider all my favorite childhood Nintendo series to have ended with the GameCube.

Games I'm looking forward to:

Duke Nukem Forever (Hail to the king, baby.)
Bulletstorm (Another shooter by the people behind Painkiller? Yes, please!)
Elder Scrolls V (maybe, I'm waiting for more info, I didn't care for Oblivion)
Two Worlds 2
Marvel vs Capcom 3
Mortal Kombat (maybe, I'll wait for reviews)
