2015 Recommend me an Audible Book! (Hmmm, might belong in User Reviews?)

2015 is just about history.

Last year, I got some incredible recommendations including:

It
The Gentlemen Bastard series
The First Law series (and 3 additional books)
The Stand
World War Z
The Way of Kings
V for Vendetta
King Killer Chronicles (my favorite, but agonizingly, only 2/3 published so far!)
Ike?s Bluff
The Saga of Seven Suns

Previously I?d listened to first 5 of A Song of Ice and Fire and 14. Also ?The Dispossessed? which nearly put me into a coma. I?m lucky I didn?t crash my car.

I have 4 credits available to me to purchase any audible book for my 3 hour round trip commute.

I am looking for recommendations. Almost any genre. And I want value! Each credit is a book, regardless of length! (Record so far is 47 hours of Steven King?s ?The Stand?. The Way of Kings, I think, came in 2nd.

So, what can you recommend?

Well if you haven't gotten to them already I suggest the following: On Basilisk Station by David Weber, the first in the Honorverse series. Garden of Iden by Kage Baker is a good one. Ringworld by Larry Niven. Pandora's Star by Peter F Hamilton is also a good option.

I hope those tickle your fancy and help your selections.

You're very welcome! A very thick paper back I have is N Space by Larry Niven, a series of snacky short stories accompanied with a statement about each story at the beginning, many of them are very interesting. There is also Lucifer's Hammer and Footfall both by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, both books will clock about 24 and half hours each.
