ET-X: The Sequel to E.T. Sets the World On Fire

In 1982, E.T. [http://www.amazon.com/T-Extra-Terrestrial-Widescreen-Limited-Collectors/dp/B00003CX9Q/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1298480815&sr=8-3] phoned home and touched the hearts of audiences worldwide. In 2011, he's back, and phoning home won't be so easy because this time it's off the hook.

Maybe you're too young to have seen E.T. when it first hit theaters all those years ago but any self-respecting nerd will have a grasp of the basics: an ugly-cute alien arrives on Earth, befriends a young boy, has a few adventures and eventually "phones home" to escape a panicked humanity. It was a touching tale and a huge hit, and now it's finally time for the long-awaited sequel. But this time around, E.T. not hiding - and he's brought some friends.

In ET-X: Extinction, E.T.'s people return to Earth in force, packing serious heat and spoiling for a fight. Why are they here? What do they want? And will humanity be able to hold off the onslaught long enough to create a super-weapon capable of driving the vicious, toad-skinned invaders off the planet once and for all?

Starring Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, Peter Coyote, Bruce Willis, David Morse, C. Thomas Howell, Barack Obama, the Jonas Brothers and Morgan Freeman, who is in freakin' everything, ET-X: Extinction lands in movie theaters this summer, in 3D!

(For the record, no, this is not a real thing. It's a Robert Blankenheim [http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fMW3W-G43gI], and if it's not the coolest thing you've seen all day, I truly feel sad for you.)

Will it have guns digitally edited into walkies-talkies?
Yes. All enhanced with CGI. And a year later it'll be re-released, and on the disk will be a giant hand flipping you off.

Definitely a fake lol, the clip of Morgan Freeman was lifted from The Sum of All Fears, the clip of the reporter holding her hand over her mouth at 2:31 is from Natural Born Killers, ~2:04 to 2:13 is the remake of The Day the Earth stood still. lol.

Yes I know, I can read thanks, I was just reconfirming it.
I'm sorry, it's just that it seems a ridiculous waste of time to post that it's a fake when it's in the article, and many people (such as myself) will take it as a bout of ignorance from the poster.

The creator of this movie should get a firm slap in the face.

You actually want to use a classic Spielberg movie an turn it into an expensive spoof in 3D? What the hell is wrong with you?!

EDIT: dang... I actually fell for it.

I think "immensely talented" is an understatement. If my jaw wasn't dropped, I was busting out laughing.
